Preface
Quite a while after WWIII, when most of her previously favored race, the humans, had perished by their own hand, Mother Nature began to “naturally select” new children to grow up. Rodents, Avians, and Porpoises evolved into more homonoidal forms, adapting to fill Gaia’s need for civilization.
The Rodentian Shrei, having evolved from a certain breed of mouse and, thusly, being fairly keen to land and trees, took up the domination of the land. They built cities not entirely unlike the Neolithic Skara Brae in their many ground level territories
